Putney Central School FEB to FEB Food Drive

Food Everyone Brings to Feed Everyone's Bodies

Putney Central School (PCS) Middle School Leadership Team's annual food drive — the 2018 FEB to FEB Food Drive — will run from February 1st through March 2nd to support the Putney Foodshelf. 

Collection boxes will be located in central locations around PCS. The boxes will be collected every Friday. Thank you for helping your student support this important school community food drive.

Putney Central School students have been supporting the Foodshelf for many years; our records go back to 2012, if not before, with a food drive the beginning of each new year. This is a slow donation time for us, so it helps keep our shelves stocked.

These students get it. They work hard to help their struggling neighbors, whether they know who they are or not. That's community. We help those around us. There's more than just book-learning going on at PCS!

We can't wait to see what this year's food drive brings. As always, the Foodshelf weighs ALL incoming food so we can document and plan for the future. We watch the trends and review numbers from year to year so we can plan.
