We welcome donations. Whether you are a home gardener, local farmer or community member with a bag of groceries to share… Thank you!
Donation Drop-off Times:
10-noon Wednesdays and Thursdays
If those times don’t work for you or you want to ensure that someone is there to receive your donation, please contact us to schedule a time: 802-387-0838 or operations@putneyfoodshelf.org.
We cannot accept donations that are six months past their best buy date or left at our door unattended.
Donation Wishlist:
Donations of everyday staple foods are always appreciated. Here’s a list of items we rarely have enough of, but are greatly appreciated by shoppers. Even donated in small quantities, a little goes a long way!
Toiletries and personal care items (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc.)
Diapers, adult disposable briefs, disposable wipes
Menstrual products
Cooking oil
Are your chickens laying extra eggs or do you have an over-abundance of kale? We’ll gladly take vegetable and egg donations from home gardens and farms.
